Midvash
00 Support

Help keep the Word free and open.

Reading the Bible on Midvash is free, and the code behind the public API, the MCP server, and this site is open. A Pro subscription funds the premium study tools; donations sustain the free and open layer.

01 Where it goes

Every contribution, one-time or monthly, covers concrete costs:

  • Infrastructure: Cloudflare Workers, D1 databases for the Bible and reference content, R2 storage for media, Email service.
  • Translations: fees and licenses for Bible translations that aren't in the public domain.
  • Time: the most expensive ingredient. Dedicated hours from the developer maintaining and improving Midvash on every platform.

Donations go straight into the costs above. When there's a surplus, it goes back into translations or apps for new platforms.
